How much does a subscription cost? The Chronicle of Higher Education publishes 43 issues a year while updating its Web site daily. A one-year subscription to the print edition costs $87.00. Subscribers also get full access to all of Chronicle.com at no extra cost. See our subscription form for more options and information. What exactly is a digital edition? The digital edition is an environmental friendly format that allows you to view an exact replica of the newspaper on your computer. It works with any common Web browser and you can read everything that was published in the print edition. And like our print subscribers, you can access all the premium, subscriber-only content at Chronicle.com. I'm a subscriber and I can not gain access the premium content at Chronicle.com. If you have a Chronicle of Higher Education account, log on at http://chronicle.com/activate and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your access to The Chronicle's premium content. You'll need a recent issue of The Chronicle as information from your mailing label is required to confirm your subscription. Mailing label? I have a digital subscription. How do I activate my access to The Chronicle's Web site? Instructions are provided in the e-mail message that delivers your digital Chronicle to you on Mondays. I can't find my copy of The Chronicle, and I want access now. What do I do? Write to us at chronicle@pubservice.com. I need to talk to someone about my subscription, not my account. Why do I need a Chronicle of Higher Education account? An account is needed in order to take advantage of our free services. What free services do you provide? The Chronicle publishes several free e-newsletters including Academe Today, our daily report on the latest events in higher education. We also publish free newsletters on technology, community colleges, and hiring. And for those more interested in ideas rather than hard news, we publish The Chronicle Review e-mail newsletter. I can't recall my user name. Go here to retrieve your user name. I can't recall my password. For privacy and security purposes, we do not re-send passwords. But you can go here to have it reset. (You will need to know your user name and the e-mail address you used when you created your account.) |
